Hello, I found this in South of France near Digne-les-Bains. Could someone tell me what it is. It was at the bottom of a slope. There were also ammonites. Thank you for your help!

I posted a report in the trip section yesterday that included this bone I am not sure about on an ID. @Ash suggested the tip of a mammoth femur and in looking at a number of mammoth femur photos I think he is right. If anyone can corroborate or suggest an alternative your input would be appreciated.

Hey there! New to the group, I was wondering if anyone can help me out with identifying this fossil I picked up in Madagascar?

Hello again, I ffound this bone about 2 years ago close to Mugharaq Port, Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE. It was found in a cliff inside of clay-like rock, it was barely acessable during high tide. It is more then 30cm long. The bone looks like it is made of clay, and was very fragile when i cleaned it, it is now less fragile and hardened. Any clues as to what it is? I think it is some sort of legbone. The town of ruwais used to be a savanna not so long ago, hope that helps.
