Hi all, Ive got a hadrosaur bone section that is quite fragile and breaks off a bit. Luckily, it has not broken into tiny pieces yet but can be fixed with some glue. Though I would like to avoid further breakdown to it and was wondering if there is anything I can use as consolidation that you guys recommend? Ive searched the forums and from what i can tell, paraloid b72 seems to best, though Im not sure where to get it in person as most are I think online only. Ive also seen that PVA is also good however Elmer's glue isnt recommended as it becomes sticky over time with humidity. Are there maybe other alternatives to these that I can purchase from in store? Im from Syd, Australia and hopefully there are maybe others that know possible local shops that may carry fossil-specific stuff haha. many thanks!

Hi there I recently purchased a cave bear paw and arm. It unfortunately cracked almost clean thru along a pin at the end of the humerus and a few piece broke off the head of the humerus. The seller said to use super glue for the repair. I am a total amateur. Is this the best thing to use? Any recommendations on how repair or what to use. If you recommend something other that super glue please let me know if it's something I can buy online Thanks!

I have recently had tree down in my yard and somehow the fall knocked down my only Mosasaur tooth! Thankfully, it was a clean break. Now I am left wondering how to fix it? What type of glue (preferably cheap) should I use? I got some Gorilla Glue, but I am worried what could happen if I don’t use the proper mixture. Just for my own personal curiosity, what could happen (besides the glue not holding) if the right chemical mixture isn’t used?

Broken Spinosaurus Tooth - How can I repair it?
EnchantedForest posted a topic in Questions & Answers
Hi everyone, unfortunately today the tip of my spinosaurus tooth has broken off - its just under 7" and about 1-2" have broken off. I've read on here that paleobond is a really great adhesive to fix this however, being from the UK I've had a look and they don't ship to where I live - I have emailed if they are able to change this waiting on a reply. I was just wondering if anyone knows in the UK if there is anywhere I can go or a similar type of adhesive that will work just as well? Thank you in advance for any replies -
So, I snapped my ivory piece in half, what do you guys recommend for fixing it?

I've been collecting fossils for a while now and it finally happened, I broke one of my finds. Repair and restoration is a part of paleontology that I have no experience and could use some help! What products do you guys recommend? -
Hello everybody, I recently acquired a small and beautiful Rotuloidea which unfortunately fell on the floor and was damaged with a few cracks as you can see at the picture below. Does anybody know if is there any way to fix them or make them less visible please? Thank you very much.

Today I received a sad package. A nice Mosasaur tooth that was going to be a late Xmas present for my kid brother. Well... It WAS a nice Mosasaur tooth. It was completely crushed in the post. Being a cheap tooth I wasn't even gonna try to fix it, but I thought I'd give it go. Not a very good job, but the best I could do.
