Hi, we found these recently at Bog Brook Preserve (NJ) and wondered if they could be fossilized vertebrae or something else? I will admit that we are new and sometimes wonder if we are seeing things that aren't there! :-) Because we found these at a known fossil site and they have very interesting shapes...we wondered what they could be. Thanks for any help!

Christa boyce posted a topic in General Fossil Discussion
The fossil was found near holdenville oklahoma in Hughes county. In a water run off that is around 30 feet deep. It is 6 inches long. 5 inches wide and 4.5 inches in height. I love fossil hunting and would go every day if possible..just wish I had more knowledge to how to properly identify them..because I have quite a collection and would love input on what exactly I have found over the years.any help will be greatly appreciated.thank you in advance.- 4 replies
