    Fossil Shark ID help please.

Hi folks. My turn to ask for ID help. I’m more of a dinosaur tooth and fossil guy. My friend gifted me these fossil shark teeth. Can you take a look and help me with these? I own a couple Meg teeth and other Shark teeth, but these are giving me a little trouble, or I’d like verification. The first two (A) and (B) have a bourlette, but proportionately large serrations like a Great White. Except GW teeth don’t have bourlettes. I believe (C) and (D) May be Carcharocles hastalis. Are they? I believe (E) is a Mako. But what species? Lastly, is

    Big Brook December 2020

Hello all, The following photos are from my most recent trip to Big Brook, NJ. For anyone unfamiliar with Big Brook, it contains late cretaceous fossils (approximately 65 million years old). From my understanding in descriptions of formations, I recovered these from the Mt. Laurel formation. I have made better finds than this, but I wanted to share this due to its recency and the fact that I had found my favorite tooth (so far). The first Image is everything I've found, which includes mackerel (C. appendiculata), goblin, and crow shark teeth (S. pristodontus). I r
  3. I made a quick video of my trip to Big Brook Preserve in New Jersey. Figured I'd share it here to show everyone. It was a lot of fun and we found a few shark teeth and some other stuff! Link to the Youtube video is below: Hunting for Fossil Shark Teeth- Big Brook Preserve

    Insane S.C. fossil hunt!!!!

Hi everyone, last Friday I went on a fossil hunting trip in S.C. with palmetto fossil excursions, there was a short hike out to the site, it was a beautiful day with an average temp of 85 degrees!!! when we were walking up to the creek area where we were hunting and we found half of what would have been a beautiful 3 1/2 inch meg tooth!!!! less than 15 minutes after that my brother found a massive blade of a mako, less then 10 feet away from the blade of the mako I found a nearly flawless posterior and several other angustidens including one with insane colors, a worn whale vert, an

  7. Hey everyone, I'm looking for a Cardabiodon tooth (or possibly a Dwardius) If you have one, please message me and we can make a trade! Will trade other species of shark teeth (I have a lot of different options), so PM me if you are looking for a specific species to trade!
  8. I am in South Carolina right now and am leaving tomorrow. I have been staying in North Myrtle Beach and have searched the beach in multiple areas for fossils but I have found nothing. I also went to Huntington Beach to look but I only found shells. So on my way back from North Myrtle Beach I plan on stopping at the Harleyville town hall piles to search for fossils. Has any one searched through these piles for fossils? Also if anyone has any suggestions on other areas to hunt near North myrtle Beach or a better place than Harleyville.
  9. Show me those collections, and how you display them....Really wanna see CBK"s with all those sick Meg ancestors.... Case of tigers and makos from gville.....
