Hello All, Thanks for having me. I am newly retired and in the process of moving to sunny Florida. My wife and I have been enjoying looking for sharks teeth on the beaches. It has piqued our interest in searching out other treasures. I have been reading thru posts on this forum and am excited to get started. A couple questions regarding when the Peace river is accessible (I hear that is a good place for newbies to begin)? Also, what is meant by "landsites", and if possible any guidance to one while I wait for the waters to recede. If you cannot tell, I am very excited to get started.

Hi guys, I was wondering if you had any resources or methods you like to use when choosing sites to fossil hunt? Are there maps of public land? Are the only options fossil specific parks, and asking someone with land? Whats your scoop/etiquette? Places within a couple hours from Central Texas? Thanks!

Found some baby teeth while scuba fossiling last weekend. Plans to go hunting again mid and late June. The guy next to me found a killer Angy. He swears it is a Ric. Have information on a couple of potentially good land site locations. Willing to trade for detailed info on other Charleston SC/Summerville/Cottageville land sites. Yet to be cleaned baby teeth Angy or Ric?

I decided to hit the creek today. My dad and I had some good finds. There weren't any 2" mako's or great whites, just the regular warn and Broken GMR teeth. It was still nice to get out there and it was a really nice day. I had a really nice Modern Teiger Shark (fossilized of course). This is my biggest one yet.
