Today I had the great pleasure to meet a Fossil Forum member @Mark Kmiecik who also loves Mazon Creek fossils. I knew I was near his residence and I contacted him and he told to come on over. We visited for a couple of hours talking about cataloging, past fossil locations that we hunted and looked at some of his collection. Below are pics that I took of a couple pics of his fossils to look at better detail using an I-Phone. Does anyone have any idea what this next one is? Sorry I did not use a scale of any type since I was just playing with the phone. The fossil itself is about 1 1/4” across, the whole concretion might be a little over 1 1/2”. Mark was also kind enough to give me 6 boxed plates of unprepared Green River fish that he purchased from Ulrich’s Fossils in Kemmerer, WY, about 13 years ago. Thanks again Mark, hopefully I can find some time to tackle these.

Hi everyone, I’ve posted here before and have been absolutely amazed at everyone’s collective knowledge and help. So I got a friend into fossil hunting and she recently went to South Carolina hunting creek beds. I like to help her with identifying her finds but this one has me stumped. I told her to post here but she hasn’t and said I could do it for her so here ya go……..really curious what people think. Thanks so much for any help.

Hello everyone, So exited that I found this forum. My name is Leo. I'm from China and recently moved to Austin. Couldn't do anything because of covid so I started walking my dog around Walnut Creek everyday. I was blown away by how many different things I've found. I've been finding shark teeth everyday just on the fossil beds in the creek. Can't wait to share what I've found and learn more about fossils. PS, here's a picture of my collection so far, I'll upload better pics of them, got sooo many questions.
