Having just returned from a trip to Oklahoma, I tried identifying my finds from the Lower Devonian's Haragan Formation. Success was had except these five fossils. Any help is graciously accepted! 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Hello! I recently went fossil hunting At White Mound in Sulphur, OK ( Devonian Era in the Haragan Formation) and I came across these black/ brownish minerals some in the shape of squares and other are more rounded but still have flat surfaces. The minerals range from 3-8 MM. The hill that the minerals came from looked to be limestone. On the Mohs hardness scale it is between a 5-7. Does anyone have an idea what mineral this could be? Thank you, Geogrl

Meet my new Maurotarion axitiosum. It's not the finest example, but I am now only missing one of the main Haragan bugs, the Acanthopyge remains elusive. If anyone has one that they want to part with let me know. I probably can't afford it, but I'd settle for bits.

Hi all, I recently acquired a bunch of Haragan/Bois D'Arc formation trilobites, and now comes the fun part: identification! I would be hugely appreciative if you could tell me subtle differences between the various Huntoniatonia species, along with the differences between the phacopids (Kainops raymondi, Paciphacops campbelli, Lochovella deckeri & Viaphacops bombifrons are all of them?) Lastly, there's a Scutelluid trilobite that came with the lot. Not convinced it's a Breviscutellum..I have seen mention of a second Scutelluid...I'll include a picture: Thank you! Cheers, Marc
