Hello everyone! In a weeks time I will be travelling to Wollongong to do some work experience at Wollongong University for a couple days. While I am there, I was thinking of doing some fossicking. I do not plan to go very far from Wollongong (Furthest going is Picton) I am looking for sites that are close to Wollongong. I know fossil wood can be found on beaches around Wollongong and was wondering if there was any specific beaches I should visit? Also heard there is Triassic fish fossils in Picton that I am excited about. Thanks, Daniel

It seems I've been a good boy for the last 10 months so Dr B has decided to take me to Prague paying for flights AND accommodation. That means I'll have some money to spend in fossil shops and the ever tolerant Doc is allowing two digs over the fortnight so the hammer will be packed (hold luggage of course). Does anyone know of shops and/or fossil sites particularly marine reptiles and ammonites? Thanks John
