Hi! I'm a new user who's really into marine reptile bones, by which I mean mosasaurs and plesiosaurs from the Late Cretaceous strata found where I live. I've recently found a small yet satisfying piece that seems to be a hollow bone of a pterosaur/bird. The age of the strata is Late Campanian/Early Mastrichtian and the rock itself is an erratic piece of an "opoka" - a siliceous limestone typically found in Poland and Germany. The bedrock from which it originates lies very likely underneath the Quarternary cover in what is now the Gdańsk Bay (SE Baltic Sea region). It's hollow inside and when v

I was looking around marsh quarry, Colorado and I found this. It looks like a bone fragment. It has a really black color seems like it consists of ash and it also shows traces of hollow bone.

• Bone is from Chandler Bridge formation in Ridgeville, South Carolina. One end is partially closed over, like a node of bamboo (left panel in top image). • tooth is from Drum Island in Charleston Harbor, South Carolina. Seems to match some internet images annotated as juvenile ground sloth tooth. I'm not sure if either end is the chewing surface. Possibly the surface shown in the bottom-right two images of lower image. Thanks for any thoughts.

Unfortunately , I cannot add much info on where this was found. To be honest I plan on using it as a handle for a steak knife. Unless it is something of value or rarity. Any comments welcome. It would be great to know if this is a dino bone or what species. It is fairly heavy and hollow inside.

This hollow bone was found in Carter County, Mt in the Hell Creek. The piece measures almost exactly 10”. Any idea what it is and/or what it belongs to?
