Hello all. I would love to know more about this fossil plate cephalopod inprint approximately 6 inches long. Here are some of the details about where it was found...
Hueston Woods State Park in Preble County, southwestern Ohio;
In the Rock bed along Four Mile Creek under Main Loop Road Bridge;
Ordovician period.
Found in late Nov. 2017 lying fossil side down among a huge pile of rocks and plates. It was dumb luck that I picked it up and flipped it before moving it to analyze some of the other fossil plates it was covering.
Really interested in the full hierarchical level info if it's available.
Thanks for your time and input. This noob appreciates it!
