This is supposed to be a Stenopterygius vertebra from Holzmaden, Germany. But is it? Could be a fish vert? (Xiphactinus audax?)

Hello! I have collected a large amount of material on marine reptiles. Origin - Cenomanian of Ukraine (phosphorite layer). After sorting through the material, I can offer 4 lots for trading. The first three are approximately the similar lots (small bones in phosphorites). 4th lot - also the bones of the Cenomanian, but mostly bony fish. If you are interested in such material, please contact me in PM. Have a nice evening

Grey limestone and white chalk, Jurassic and Cretaceous fieldtrip.
Manticocerasman posted a topic in Fossil Hunting Trips
A new fieldtrip to the coast of northern France this Saturday. In the morning we prospected the beaches with Jurassic deposits whit a few friends. Not an easy place to look for fossils, but Natalie fond a large Ichthyosaur vert and I found a neat little echinoid in the shingle. At noon our local friends hat to go, so Natalie and I made a stop a little more up North on our way home. We went to the beaches at the chalky Cretaceous cliffs. Here we had a lot of luck, the sea had cleaned up the cliff falls that had occurred a few weeks back. In a short amount of time w- 30 replies

This is a limb bone of ichthyosaurus from Xingyi, Guizhou. Any idea if it is a hind or front limb? And is it possible to tell the species?

Does anyone have, or have seen, small marine reptile's stomach contents? I'm specifying small because what I'm wondering about is of those that eat primarily and mostly squid. Ive been trying to find pictures, but I can't find anything thats close-up enough to see any details at all. Just like from a full picture of a full-body ichthy plate, which is way too far out to see the apparently stomach contents. *i don't mean corprolites, but actual impressions of the stomach contents

Hi I would like to identify this vertebra I bought on an auction site. It is from France (Pas-De-Calais). I think it might be from an Ichthyosaurid allthough it is quite big and thick (8,5cm diameter and 4,5cm wide) My second guess is Plesiosaurid. Feel Free to share any details and thank you for leaving comments Thomas

Because of private reasons i didnt post much lately but now i found some time to post my teeth-finds from last Sunday in Holzmaden. There were lots of good-looking material and the weather was great ! Best circumstances to collect I was about 3 or 4 hours in the quarry Kromer (Lower Jurassic) and found some good stuff. As doushantuo says (here: http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/73430-three-new-teeth-from-holzmaden/ ) the preparation was a serious dental work Firstly this nice Ichthyosaurus tooth: With a length of 1 cm
