Hello everyone. Can anyone help me identify this rock. It was found on the Mississippi river. It is about the size of a silver dollar. There are two photos of one side and one of the other side.

Hello everyone, I need your help to identify an ammonite. Today I bought one but I bought it in a place where they only sell minerals so when I asked where it was from or more information about the fossil they told me they didn't know. I am not a great expert but I understand that most ammonite fossils are from Madagascar, although I am not saying that this one is from there. My questions are the following: Is there any way to know the age and species of the ammonite? Before making the publication I was looking for a little information and I saw that it is very similar to Phylloceras due to the markings on the shell, which I have seen on sales sites such as ammonite from madagascar, that is why I suspect it, but I am an amateur so I don't know. any. Thank you all

Many years I have hunted rocks and fossils in MS, use to belong to the MS Gem & Mineral Club. The rock you see below has a fossil imprint. Can you tell me what it is? The other side looks just like a solid rock.

Hello, I picked this up on my recent trip through northern Arizona on route to Grand Canyon North Rim. It appears to be a plant fossil but I have no knowledge on this. I picked it up for my friend's 9 yr old boy who is very interested in geology and fossils. It would make him so happy if we could ID the rock & if this is a fossilized plant. The format would not allow me to upload more than 1 picture due to size. Any help would make a budding 9 yr old geologist very happy. TY
