I'm assuming this is a fish or ray tooth, what type is it? Found at Big Brook (little bigger than a finger nail) Found this tooth at Big Brook and was wondering what type of tooth this is?

Every now and then something weird shows up in my sifter. Look at this cute little guy. Hexagonal shape with a faint raised area in the middle. Texture, shape, thickness all seem right for a giant armadillo, but the size is tiny. I've never seen one this small. Can someone confirm or deny this? Could this be from a baby/juvenile? Could it be a baby glyptodont. I'm stumped.

Hi, new here I recently acquired this trilobite fossil, which I can identify as Coronocephalus, but I'm not sure about the species. It's not immediately apparent from the first picture, but this is only the negative. The trilobite itself is around 4 centimetres long. I suspect it is a molt. A friend got it for me as a souvenir on his trip to Yunnan, China. I'd be tempted to say C. gaoluoensis based on how frequently they occur, but the glabella makes me suspect C. rex. Edit: upper end of glabella tuberculate so probably not gaoluoensis pygidium does not taper therefore cannot be rex stab in the dark: changningensis?

Part of an ankle or knee, partial vert, or ? - Peace River, FL

This is another one that has me stumped. At first glance, it was chunkosaurus. On closer examination, it has some curvature and features that might help identification. Does anyone know what this is? The last time I found something roughly similar to this, it turned out to be part of a horse knee or something like that. Found in the Peace River, Bone Valley, DeSoto County, FL. Thanks! -
I'm stumped on this oddball. It looks damaged and is suffering from some delamination of the outer shell, but the core is intact and it looks like the entire top chewing surface is visible. What is it? A very worn cetacean tooth? A suggestive broken portion of mammoth tooth? Some other vertebrate critter? Found in the middle Peace River, Bone Valley formation, Hawthorn group - Desoto County Florida. Thanks!

Good morning, long short story 2 weeks ago O bought some bulk spinosaur teeth. 7 of them are clearly Spinosaur, but this one looks so thin and weird and doesn't look as a spinosaur. Maybe they send to me a wrong one? What do you think guys?

About 10 days ago @Jeffrey P and I collected at an exposure near his house that is full of Lower Devonian brachiopods. I was amazed by the diversity of brachiopods at the site. But what makes this site so special also makes it tough to identify everything. I did my best to identify many of my finds, but I am a bit stumped on several others. A lot of the sketches in Linsley's plates are starting to look alike. I could really use some help, even if it is a guess on the family or genus. Please let me know what you think. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you! #1- Spirinella modesta? #2 #3- Cyrtina varia? #4 #5- Nucleospira ventricosa? #6 #7 #8 #9 #10 #11 #12- Cloudella stewarti? #13 #14 #15- juvenile Meristella laevis?

Found this fairly deep about 20 - 30 feet in the ground well in thick clay. Other interesting pieces found but this, to me, was interesting as it seems to have been cracked open at the top and its shape. Found in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana.

Not sure what this one is. When I pulled it out of the river, it appeared black. It turned tan after it dried. It looks like a piece of carapace or something along those lines. Soft shell turtle? Crab? Armored catfish? Does anyone know what this weird little thing is? Thanks in advance!

This little tooth (I think) is missing the crown. Is there enough of it remaining to ID what it is? Or is this some weird partial fragment of mammoth tooth or something like that? Found in the northern Peace River, Florida. Thanks!

I found this oddball in the northern Peace River. It's a paddle-shaped bone with "streaks" or "lines" running the length on one side. It also has some curvature to it. I can't decide if it's a partial bone or the entire thing. Does anyone know what this is? My gut is saying something like turtle. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! PS - sorry my photos suck. My hands have gotten shakier lately and I need to invest in a tiny tripod.

Hello, I am seeking identification on a spscimen I found in Horsethief Canyon (not to be confused with Horseshoe Canyon), just outside of Drumheller, Alberta, Canada. (Dino capital of the world!). I found this specimen above ground while hiking in the coolees of the canyon. It was not nearby anything similar to my knowledge. I took photographs of it under my microscope to assist with identificafion. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. Take care.

Found this while hunting for fossils along the Credit River in Mississauga, ON (Canada). I'm completely new to fossil hunting so I'm unable to identify this! I thought it looked pretty neat so I picked it up and took it home. It's heavy and about 10cm across and about 8cm tall. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I recently found this really cool double Agerostera mesenterica at Big Brook in New Jersey (Late Cretaceous; Navesink Formation). After I finished cleaning the fossil, I noticed these tiny encrusters on the larger of the two oysters. They don't look like your typical Serpula tube worm trace. I am not quite sure what they are. They almost have the shape of being some other type of bivalve. Any help is greatly appreciated. Some close-up photos using my digital microscope
