these were found at a chalk-based cretaceous seabed in Starkville, MS...Both 10-15 mm in diameter... any idea what they are? one is cone-shaped, the other is flat on top and bottom... on the second fossil, one side has fanned lines stemming from the center bottom whereas the other side has straight lines

I found this stone at a river in Tennessee. At first I thought it was just a cool shaped stone but the more I look at it, I believe it is a bone. Can someone please help me identify whether or not it actually is a bone? If so what type bone. Thank you in advance!!

I was just offered this "raptor" tooth, but I'm not real big on unidentified teeth, so I'll post a couple photos and see what you guys think... I don't see any serrations on it, so..... Species: Dromaeosaurid indet.? Formation: Lance Formation Location: Niobrara County, Wyoming Age: 69-66 mya, Cretaceous This is an authentic theropod tooth from the Lance Formation of Wyoming. This tooth has no restoration or repairs, and has pretty well preserved enamel.

Soo I've been digging and finding bone in different areas along w buried deep charcoal and or black thin stone. Most rocks I let sit on a shelf but this one has been bugging me and has me stumped and YES I LICKED IT gross and it was slightly sticky. I've honestly not a clue and the pattern on parts of it has truly just thrown me for a loop. Any help appreciated. USA/VA

We found this while along the Missouri river in Bismarck North Dakota. The river is extremely low and we were aways out where the waters are normally deep.

Found on Lake Michigan in Petoskey, MI. Is this a stromatoporoid fossil? If not, any idea what it is? Pictures show both sides.

Hello everyone, I bought a bucket of small shark teeth from a fossil dealer in my country many years ago. The tag on it says it’s from morocco, khouribga, and the age is Eocene, Cenozoic. I found it when I was cleaning my room last week, and I started trying to identify them. I guess that 1st and 3rd one is carcharias, 2nd one is striatolamia, and the 4th one is cretolamna. If these conjectures are obviously wrong, I’m very sorry about that. In my country, there is no research on this subject and these sharks don’t even have an official name. Thanks for your help. (The measurement standard is centimeters and sorry for my poor English expression.)

Hi all! Newbie here. Just starting out collecting. I saw this tooth for sale but seller does not appear to know exactly what it is. What I can say is its from Judith River and 3/4 inches longs. It looks to me like a dromeosaur tooth from the guides I found on here but figured it never hurts to ask! It looks like it could be a fossil, tho I don't know my geology well enough to begin to speculate as to what kind of fossil it would be, if it indeed could be. It looks like it could be a rock, chalcedony in-filled with limestone maybe, however strange a shape it's taken. I've done my best to set it aside, trying to wait out my curiosity while it sits with the other chunks of chalcedony, but I can't stop looking at it. Please help! K

Hi, Purchased this Baltic Amber from Lithuania. Tried the black light test and the very clear amber turns opaque cream like color. Please see pics. Is this possibly fake? Thanks!

I’ve made several trips to Greens Mill Run recently, lots of shark teeth and belemnites, large intact scallops and clams, large whale ribs and jaw bones and ear bones. However I have 3 fossils I cannot identify. Some pics are below: The top tooth is either mosasaur or crocodile, not sure which. The other two, I’m clueless. Any help would be appreciated!

I would appreciate some help identifying some of my latest finds. Since I am in Southern Indiana, I know many of my finds are silicified or geodized and I kind of know what some of them are but I want to be sure. I apologize if this post seems to be a bombardment of pictures that I am asking help identifying but I didn't want to post too many separate posts. Hopefully I've correctly uploaded pictures & if I am doing anything incorrectly please give me advise. First are what look to be turtle shells or are they just geodes moonlighting as turtle shells?

Hi all what could this possibly be. Found along a river bed in Canada. I think might be ivory because of the lines seen on the black side. Quite heavy,. Note the fossils in the growth lines on the totally flat/ smooth side.
