I found this fossil in southeastern Indiana. Does anyone know what it could be? I figure it's some kind of gastropod but I'm not sure what, I've never seen one like it before.

I was rocking hunting with my husband a few years back and found this in a field in southern Indiana. We are trying to figure out what it is as neither of us has ever seen anything like it before.

Apologies in advance for the large/unorganized pictures. I think it might be a walnut seed, but I'm not completely sure. I'm no expert on modern plants, let alone ones old enough to fossilize. It was found in the late 1980s/early 1990s. As a kid, I stumbled across it in a riverbed in Needmore, IN (USA). Mainly I wanted to post it as I'm guessing it is unusual to have half a fossilized seed that includes what I think is the nut part of the seed. This fossil was found in this condition (it wasn't cut open as far as I know). I'm guessing the green coloration in the interior is due to some sort of algae from the riverbed - I've never tried to clean it out (and probably never will).

Hi. I have always loved to look for fossils since I was a kid. I was looking for native fish species in a creek here in central Indiana when I came along this rock. It looks like it could be an insect fossil. Does anyone agree or disagree? Thanks

I would appreciate some help identifying some of my latest finds. Since I am in Southern Indiana, I know many of my finds are silicified or geodized and I kind of know what some of them are but I want to be sure. I apologize if this post seems to be a bombardment of pictures that I am asking help identifying but I didn't want to post too many separate posts. Hopefully I've correctly uploaded pictures & if I am doing anything incorrectly please give me advise. First are what look to be turtle shells or are they just geodes moonlighting as turtle shells?

I found this at my sister's lake house (in Indiana) up by the house where they usually see a lot of turtle eggs under the bushes. I'm not sure if this is a fossilized egg or a concretion. I'm very new to this. Any info would be great.
