Pull this guy out of a creek this morning in Frisco, Texas. I think bison - anyone know? Also, does anyone know how to date? Apparently this guy didn't get the memo on how to brush his teeth. Ha!

Greetings, I need help identifying this jaw bone. It looks to me like any wolf jaw bone I have seen. However, wolves only recently returned to the region it was found and it appears old.. at least to me. I would like to identify it and to learn how to posatively identify differences between wolf jaw bones and dogs. I'm also interested in any good reference on the subject I might aquire. Thank you for any help!!

These two items were found together in the same area of a small creek (south Alabama) and were associated with Cretaceous shark teeth. The jaw bone is approximately 1-3/4" long and the teeth are 1/4" wide. The claw core is right at 3" long and 2" wide. Any thoughts comments would be greatly appreciated!

Found in Summerville SC creek. Is it modern or fossil and who does it belong to? It's 5 1/4 inches long and probably oligocene if it's a fossil. Thanks for looking. Taffie
