Hi all, Would it be possible to help identify fossil in the photo for my son please. It was found on Charmouth Beach, Dorset UK last month. At first we thought it was part of a large Ammonite but the edges seem to pointy so wondering if it’s a part of a vertebrae? Any help would be appreciated as he’s only 6 and keeps asking me what I think it is and I don’t know 🤷♂️ 🤣 Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I found this near Hinckley Point, Somerset. Anyone have an idea what it may be? I thought the texture looked a bit like the inside of a bone. Thanks, Kieran

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. My name is Giacomo, also known as Omono. I am a 26 years old guy from Rome, Italy. I moved to London (UK) to live and work as a graphic designer three years ago. My girlfriend is from Lyme Regis (Jurassic Coast!!) and now and then we go down to the coast to discover some fossils. I am a complete amateur. I have a couple of magazines about fossils, a hammer and goggles. I found quite a few interesting fossils (and stones that might be fossils) and I will create a new ID in a moment and also link it here later on. I think it's time for me to join this Forum and get some advice and opinions on my stones collection Omono

Hello all.... We found this curious object whilst fossil hunting on a Dorset UK beach at the Jurassic coast.... Can anybody identify what it is? Alao why is it white rock inside with a uniform layer of stone around it....how is it formed this way? We are new to fossils and it was my 8 year old Daughter who found it and she is desperate to find out what it is.... Thanks to all who help out Lee
