Opened up a decent sized nodule to find this ammonite, not the usual I would come across and with nice markings, sadly the outer part had been crushed but managed to free the inner, I will remove the matrix from the centre later, I believe it could be an Oxynoticeras but not sure, any ideas ? Thanks.

Hi, was out hunting and climbed up some banks/cliffs to have a little look, came across this, was going to discard it so chipped off the end to have a look (which looked similar to a ball joint) and thought looked a bit boney, I think it's just some layers of rock/sand myself but wanted your opinions before I binned it, cheers.

Hello everybody! Is it possible to say based on theses photos if it's a slice of an ammonite or gastropod? Hard limestone, upper Jurassic, Laghouat Algeria. Thank you.

Found this fossil at Port Mulgrave, North Yorkshire last week. Overall length about 5 cm. I thought maybe it is a reptile (croc?) skull. The tiny spikes look like teeth. The bottom side may be the lower jaw, it has got these spikes on both sides. Thanks for helping :-). Sander Arendsen, Netherlands
