Hello, i wanted to share some pictures of my new Theropod teeth for my collection. They're both Kryptops palaios teeth from Niger, they seem to be very rare. What do you think about them? sice : 2-3 cm

Hi Guys, I recently got some photos from a friend of mine who bought these teeth from Niger. When he bought them, the seller told him that there is at least one tooth of Kryptops, Eocarcharia and Afrovenator in this lot, but he wanted to be sure. What do you think? In my opinion the first is from Afrovenator, the second and third from Eocarcharia, and about the last I'm not so sure. Thank you in advance.

Hello and Happy Friday! A while back I posted an alleged Eocarcharia tooth that was ultimately thought to probably be Eocarcharia, but possibly be Kryptops. I just got a more definitive Kryptops tooth that has me second guessing the Eocarcharia. So, the focus of this post is tooth #1, the smaller tooth (unless you don't think tooth #2 is Kryptops--then please let me know). Both are from Elrhaz. Tooth 1 (alleged Eocarcharia and the focus of the post): CH: 29mm CL: 12mm CW: 5.4mm Mesial serration density: 4/mm Distal serration density: 3.4/mm Tooth 2 (Kryptops comparator): CH: 36mm CL: 15mm CW: 6.5mm Mesial serration density: 3.4/mm Distal serration density: 3.4/mm Comparisons, Tooth 1 on the left: Thanks!

I just received this tooth in the mail. It was sold as eocarcharia but the carinae on the front makes me wonder if it really is eocarcharia. What do people here make of it? It's 6.5 cm long. It's quite worn so i can't see any serrations on the backside, but the carinae is visible. Also, is the tip broken from erosion or feeding wear? It's from the elrazh formation, Gadoufaoua, Tenere desert, Niger @Troodon

Hey guys, I saw this tooth listed as Kryptops tooth, seller says it was found at Elrhaz Formation of the Tenere Desert of Niger, and it could also be from the Afro minus or Eocarcharia. What do you guys think?
