I took a morning trip to the North Sulphur River this morning in Ladonia, Texas. I found a beautiful piece of baculite, a few fossilized snail shells, a fish vertebrae, fossil shell cluster, and a nice, detailed piece of petrified wood or maybe coral?

Hello everyone! It was a beautiful, but hot day today on the North Sulphur River in Ladonia, Texas. I found a few nice specimens, but I need some help identifying them. This one was found on the top of the surface near the bank. It is not as heavy as a piece of rock, but it reminds me of the piece of mammoth tooth enamel that I found there a while back. It has a few shiny, smooth areas and has a slight curve to it. Definitely a broken piece of something. Thank you in advance!

I found this strange little piece over the weekend on the North Sulphur River in Ladonia, Texas. It feels like stone and is fairly lightweight. It is 2 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide at its widest point. It has a slight curve to its shape and has "C" shaped grooves on each side. Any ideas??

I found this over the weekend on the North Sulphur River in Ladonia, Texas. It's approximately 2 1/2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. It has several layers of different colors and is smooth to the touch on both sides. It reminds me of a turtle shell which I am assuming it might possibly be, but feels like stone. It is also fairly lightweight. Any ideas?

Hot long NSR trip. My legs are sore lol. Nice variety today including attached verts, bison tooth, mosasaur verts, multiple fish jaw sections, turtle shell, gastropods etc.

Short 3 hr NSR hunt between the 35 ft rise and the current 8 ft rise. I had very little area to hunt but still had a great day. The Tylosaur jaw section made my day. My new 4x4 saved me once again when I slid down the ditch while parking.

These were found at the Sulphur River at Ladonia Fossil Park yesterday - which fossils are from the crustaceous period from what I've read. The river is in the process of flooding so I searched far on the banks where I usually wouldn't probably look, since getting in the river wasn't an option yesterday. The white thing is the one I'm mainly curious about. But, at the rate I have been going, I may as well ask about the other one too, since I have yet to find a winner. I found this at the Ladonia fossil Park, Texas, in the Sulphur River, it looks like it might be a fish in this rock towards the top but I'm not sure. I believe all findings in this water or from the Cretaceous Period. Thank you for looking and any help identifying. Laura

Hello, I am new to this site so I apologize in advance if I post incorrectly. I went to Ladonia, Texas, to the fossil park and found a lot of "red" type rocks or fossils. I need help identifying what they are and basically if they are even fossils. I have a lot of them, so to keep this simple, I will just post photos of all the same item, but in various angles.
