I took an older Facebook friend to the North Sulphur River Texas today who hasn't been in over 20 years. His goal was to find one last arrowhead in the river. We had a pretty good morning and he found a nice Gary point. The partial plesisoaur paddle was the find of the day in my opinion. We stayed within sight of the bridge and and only hunted a few hours but had some cool finds.

We found 5 vertebrae today. We think they are mosasaurus. Can anyone help identify these? If better pics are needed or individual pics I can take more. Thanks again Matt & Teri

I got in a 3 hr hunt before the rain and flooding. Once the water started coming up I had to make a quick exit but still got wet. I managed to find a few things.

Due to the hurricane I got an extra day off from offshore so I hit the North Sulphur River for a few hours. I found a nice big Tylosaur vert, small mosasaur vert, fish ribs, arrowhead and a big Native American chopper tool. The arrowhead is ugly but I like it lol.

I found this bone today at the North Sulphur River Texas. I think it's a type of mosasaur bone based on weight and color but I can't tell what it is.

I found this on the North Sulphur River in Ladonia, Texas. Ozan formation. At first glance it looks like a claw, but is a very worn tooth maybe? Any ideas?

Before I toss this into the deep, dark box of unknown rocks...I’m wondering what kind of tooth (?) this might be? It’s from the North Sulphur River in Ladonia, Texas. Help? Thanks!!!

Here’s a small group of items I found in the North Sulfur River (Ladonia, Texas) over the weekend. I’m curious if A,B and C are coprolite? I’m wondering what species the shark tooth is as well. Thank you in advance!

Any input on this found in Ladonia. I'm thinking it is a plant based fossil but not sure on any specifics. My middle daughter found it in the river bed.

Weather was beautiful so I took a long 7 mile hike with my buddy at The North Sulphur River Texas. We mainly found footprints but we had a good time. Here's my finds of the day. The large piece of Protostega carapace was my favorite find. 7 mile hike in hip boots and sticky mud probably equals 10 mile hike. lol

I found this nice chunk of mosasaur (?) bone over the weekend at the North Sulphur River in Ladonia, Texas. It has beautiful black enamel on each side that is very smooth and shiny. It has a bowl shaped curve to it on one side. I was thinking it was a rib chunk, but I wasn’t sure with it having the curve. What do you all think? Thank you in advance!

I found these bone pieces, at least I think they’re bone, in the shallow water of the North Sulphur River of Ladonia, Texas. Any ideas of what type of mammal they belonged to? Thanks in advance!!!
