Interesting oval, multi-layered rock found on lakeshore in southern Minnesota. Could this be a fossil?

Found this at seashore in Vir, Croatia (Northern Dalmatia), the stone is about 10cm on the longest side. Thought it'd be some fossils (because I got no clue about fossils) but now it looks more like a regular stone embedded with some softer pebbles that crumbled away with time (probably because of sea currents). Could anybody confirm that?

Not exactly sure what this is (not a paleontologist- or even a collector as my username suggests). I was wondering if it was coral or fossilized honeycomb or something entirely different. Any help would be appreciated.

I found this in a dry rocky area of the North Sulphur River of Ladonia, Texas. Appears to be a half section of a layered cylinder of some sort compressed together. Any ideas?

Hello, Let me start by apologizing for not reading the FAQ. I wanted to but I couldn't find it. I even searched in forums. I pulled down the menu on the right upper corner several times. I live in northwest Arizona, about 25 miles south of the grand canyon. I recently acquired the neighboring 40 acres to me. Tons of fossils. But he left me these large green rocks and that's what this posting is about. I took this picture today, cloudy and just to send to my brother but then I remembered this site, so here I am. Any ideas on what these 3 green rocks are?

I found this in Northwest Georgia on a farm. It appears to be a large smooth snail shell with the snail protruding out, Its very cool I just dont know that much about it. The rock itself appears to be made up of layers and is very heavy, maybe from the cretaceous period which would make it 100 million years old at least, It was under the ground maybe two feet. Id say it ways about 12 pounds, If yall could tell me more about it I would appreciate it. PM me or email me at leviself <AT> att.net
