My youngest son found this leaf last year and its been sittin im my garage for awhile. I had my middle son trim up the rock and ready for me to do my majic. Found in Colorado, Green River Formation, Eocene RB With just some careful brushing with some cut Glyptal you can see how the left side is much better now. I did just a tad bit of scribing to expose the tips and stems of the two little leafs and then some more careful brushing with my glyptal and WA LAAA!!!

Hi everyone ! I'm here as u know to show u my Personal finds which are now also in my collection.All of the fossils belongs to Miocene epoch (14,5myo) and they're found in Marl stone Quarry in Popovac,Serbia.Here u can see almost whole fish fossil,just without the head and the tail.I hope soon to find one whole . Except that fish,you can also see many fish remains,snail,lake clams,leaf,Equisetum part i think also...And one tinny bone,i honestly don't think that's from a fish tho.I hope u will enjoy Pozdrav, Darko

Sunday's find. Many fossils. I wasn't really prepared to go on a hunt so these were all found at the base of an outcropping. Some slabs with fossils too. Impossible to move. I also ran into a person who collects rocks and he shared a rock he found at the Deschutes River. Looks like petrified wood but on the sides it looks like it could be bone. I put these pictures here too. Going to try to clean some of these up and get the twigs out in one piece later this week.

Zdravo to all! I just wanna ask if someone wants to help me to determine which species of these two can this be. I found it as always in a Marl stone Quarry.I'm asking u this cause both species have very similar shape of leafs. Thanks

Not sure when I found these, but my wife today wanted to clean out a shed that I didnt know I had fossils in? Anyways, these have been sittin in the shed since we moved here to Montana. 11 years. So I did a bit of prep on two of them. Came out purty dang nice. One is a kind of Willow and the other I have no idea, but it was nice to find a stem and a tip! These are from Colorado and are Eocene in age. Ive still got to cut off about 50 freakin pounds of rock to square them up, but my tile saw isnt workiing at the moment. RB
