A nice Dictyonema flabelliforme dendroid graptolite from Oslo Fields in Norway. It's Tremadoc, Lower Ordovician in age and is thus maybe around 480 mya. Another angle :

About a month ago, Jualhadun87 posted information regarding Lilydale Park in St. Paul where one can get a permit and collect Ordovician fossils. I had some business in Minneapolis, so I drove from my home in N Minnesota to the more Tropical parts of the state. I went to Lilydale on Saturday. Unfortunately, even though St Paul is quite south- there was still too much snow to find the quarry beds. There were a few small creeks that were partially open , so my wife and I waded through the 4 inch deep water and filled a couple of buckets with material. Picture 1 is my back yard at the present moment- this snow business is getting a bit silly - St Paul was a lot better but still not quite useable- frozen waterfalls looked better for Ice climbing than late April fossil collecting. Picture 2 is what came out of the buckets, and picture 3 shows a little of the material. Looks like some decent hash plates, bryozoans, brachiopods etc- I want to clean there up a bit when it gets warmer and search carefully. I hope you all have better weather wherever you are
