Hi, any thoughts on this? From Hell Creek, Montana. 5.5 x 3.75 x 3 inches. Seller bought it ages ago, labelled as T-Rex bone but doesn't know if it actually is. It's quite battered, unfortunately, but hope there is enough to possibly ID it. I guess it would be indistinguishable from Nano, so it should be undeterminate tyrannosaur (unless it's Hadrosaur?) Thanks

Hello, Thoughts on this? It intrigued me because I don't see Cretaceous bird fossils for sale often and would be a nice, unusual addition. The only bird I see listed as from Judith River is Hesperornis. But the only picture really I can find of Hesperornis limbs, the bones look much too fat and too thick. It is listed as a bird limb bone, from Judith River Formation. Seller gave me quite specific location info in a message -- 20 miles South of the Canada border, on the edges of Milk River escarpment, Hill County, Montana. On a layer where Hadrosaurid fossils have been f

Edmontosaurus fibula-- real or nah?
Somethingwicked posted a topic in Is It Real? How to Recognize Fossil Fabrications
Hey all-- looking at this edmontosaurus fibula, considering buying. Do you think it's legit? Why/why not? -
I just love the color on this one, like a work of art to me. Like the last bone I posted, I don’t really expect to get an exact ID but was hoping to learn which bone this was. It is more than likely mastodon or mammoth. Titanotheres were quite a bit further west from the area I hunt. This bone has not been cleaned or preserved in any way , this is how it looked when I came out of the ground. If nothing else it will make a great display piece!

hi all, I got these as part of a collection. The ID card simply said "bird bone" from the Rancho LaBrea Fm, McKittrick. Honestly, birds are not my forte, but I'm trying, given all the bird material that I have collected from Lee Creek. But I digress... I could use some help with the ID of 4 bones. The two here are long limb bones, approximately 3.5in to 4in in length. As for an ID, that's all I can guess. Help! thanks!

Hello Forum members, I found this limb bone while diving the Cooper River in SC. I initially thought it likely to be a deer bone based on the overall size and proportions, but I'm unable to match it to any deer bone descriptions I've found. Any ideas?

Hi. I found this in the British Coal Measures. I think it is a limb bone. Is it a limb bone? If so, is it from a fish or an amphibian? Thanks, Daniel
