    Palaeo-activities around Bourges/Morlac in France

Hi all, I'm currently on a week's holiday near Morlac (Bourges-area) in France, and was wondering if there were any toddler-friendly activities in the area that I could do with my 3.5 year-old son. I'm thinking of museums, but possibly also of areas where we might go on a fossil-hunt. Thanks for any information you could and would be willing to share!
  7. Over April break I will be traveling to Horseshoe Bend in northern Arkansas for a week. Here is the best collection of papers about fossils in Oregon that have pictures of fossils, fossil locality maps, and great discussions about petrified wood including lots of micro photographs. 10. It's been a while. This weekend, my mom is taking a trip to Cantonment, FL to visit my uncle. I know FL has some good spots (namely Bone Valley and Co.), but I am not very knowledgeable of what you can find in the panhandle. Does the Pleistocene/Miocene show up in Cantonment, or something else, or nothing at all?

Please note that this list will be updated continuously as I find more available resources. All of these files are freely available on the Internet so there should be no copyright issues. 13. Fellow fossil freaks, For over a decade, we (a small team of 4 volunteers) have been developing a Dutch-Belgian paleo-portal at fossiel.net. Some may already know us a bit. We are a completely independent and non-commercial effort, aiming at providing a knowledge base and communication platform, to the benefit of both amateur and professionals. Moreover, we specifically try to bridge the gap between amateurs and professionals. Originally only available in Dutch, we finally did the massive effort to translate the whole website to English , and we're nearly there! Last year, we also comp
  14. Hi There! I'm going to be travelling down good 'ol Route 66 from Illinois to Arizona, and looking for some good fossil collecting localities (i.e., roadcuts, etc), near the Mother Road. I am especially interested in Missouri, Oklahoma, anything in the Amarillo area, and New Mexico. We're going to be staying at grandma's house in Gold Canyon, Arizona - and since grandma sleeps a lot I figure I'll have some time to sneak out and explore that area too! Suggestions? Any help would be appreciated immensely. Thank you, and have an aweosme day! -Roadcut Hannah, her fossil-collecting family, an
