    Fossil or Manmade?

I usually find Cretaceous period fossils in the area where I found this. Does this look like a real fossil or is it more likely to be man-made? Here are 3 pics of the back, side and top. It's about 4 inches long and is not very heavy.
  2. We found these near the edge of a dried up lake in France during vacations. Maybe they are just stones? But they have strange markings. Please see the pictures below. Could someone say something what we have come across?

    ammonite acquisition

Looking through some amonites in a rock shop I felt compelled to purchase this one. Not a single one of my others have markings like this so it has been added to my collection. Are the markings from a type of vegetation?

    Strange little find

I haven’t found bone pieces with such symmetrical and aligned cuts like this before. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what this may be?
  6. Came across this piece of petrified wood awhile back and was just noting the odd red markings in the second photo. Any idea what would cause such unique markings on petrified wood? I've never seen such before...
