JohnBrewer posted a topic in Fossil ID
Everyone please use an internationally recognised scale in your images. Coins aren’t good enough. How big is s rupee, or a farthing? I dunno. Of course a marmite jar is the same size worldwide Vegimite is NOT internationally recognised. I hope you’re taking notes @Jesuslover340- 41 replies

hey everyone.. sorry I keep pestering you guys for theropod measurements - but this is one I can't find anywhere in the literature.. One of the specimens I'm using for my study is the AMNH 7223 Coelophysis; and I need measurements for the furcula of that specimen - Colbert's Coelophysis monograph isn't very helpful, and nor is the Nesbitt et al. 2009 paper on theropod furculae. Any ideas? Thanks for the help. Christian

Hi, there. I am seeking for help on an ongoing research. You see, there is two fossil sites in wich I work as a graduate student. We are developing a new method to identify isolated Bison teeth using multivariate statistics. Until now we beign able to differentiate between two ecotypes, a large form and a small form. These are not sexual differences (we alrealy test them and find the sexual difference does not correspond with our findings). The help I need now is if you know someone or directly posess skulls of fossil North American fossil bisons with attached teeth. I only need to identify
