I finally figured out a better way to maximize the display space on my shelf for my Megalodon collection. I contact J. Greene (aka. EBay's 123thegemship) at Gemshop2<AT>aol.com, and asked if he could build me a custom two tier display stand with elevated back row. I have purchased his regular single tooth stands before on ebay and know he does good work. He was happy to help and here is the final product. I am very happy with the result! Only wish the shelf was deep enough for the third row!

I finally had a chance to take a picture of all the Megs and Meg ancestors in my collections as of 9/26/13. Largest tooth in the back row is 6.6 inches and largest tooth in the second row is a 6.2 inch Chilean, for reference. The more exotic locations are on the second/middle row starting on the left. From left to right on the 2nd row is a 6.2" Chilean, 6.0" Chilean, 5.2" Aurora, 5.1" Cuban, and then 4.6" Cuban. The rest are from the more typical locations (mostly Carolinas, Florida, and Georgia).

    5.1 inch Cuban Megalodon tooth

    From the album: Megalodon Collection

This is a 5.1 inch C. Megalodon tooth from Cuba with no repair or restoration. It's not "museum quality", pristine tooth but is in very good condition as far as Cuban Megs go. Only a superficial hydration crack on one side of the root that healed naturally in the fossilization process, minor tip serration wear, and loss of some bourlette. That's about all the detractors, with the rest pretty positive about this specimen.

This is an interesting 4.9 inch C. Megalodon tooth from Georgia with Pathologic wavy edges near the root and pitting/indentations on the front and back enamel. The pitting reminds me of hail damage on a car and is something I haven't seen on many specimens. The effect is most pronounced on the non-display side (ie. true front). The tooth also has nice symmetry, bourlette, serrations and tip. Not the largest Meg in my collection but certainly has an interesting appearance.

This angle of the non-display side really shows off the pitting "hail damage" in the enamel.
