Should I Glue Broken Megalodon Tooth Fragments? (Puerto Rico)

Hello all, I recently received some megalodon teeth from Puerto Rico, the other one is ok but this one was found in fragments and held together by tape. I am wondering what will be a good way to repair the fragments for now, would super glue be ok to use or is there something else I should use? Since its from a rare locality I want to stabilize it as best as I can before I decide or not to fully repair it.

Great trip with my daughter to Venice Sunday, she did pretty well. She found a good size bone and I'm unsure of what a few are. Thanks for the help in advance!

I've gone to Gainesville a few times and I haven't found many megalodon teeth, a bunch of fragments is about it. Anyways I'm going for a nice megalodon tooth. I'm not asking you guys to give up a spot but what kind of material should I look in to find a good preserved fossil? Like a good size megalodon or a horse tooth or anything of that nature. I have found that the rock rich spots have lots of smaller shark teeth but nothing big. I've seen some people look in a clay like material and find good preserved fossils but what should I look for? I need some help thanks

I think this is a megalodon fragment, but I'd like to get confirmation because I'm new to shark teeth fossils and not very knowledgeable. It was found in North Topsail Beach, NC.

So I have a few days off duty and I'm planning on making a long weekend out of it. I'm starting tomorrow in Aurora, NC at the museum's spoil piles. This will be a first, so any suggestions are appreciated. Saturday I will be going to the Charelston, SC area to try my luck again. I was looking for advice in this area. I have done a ton of research with little success. I don't expect someone to give exact locations to their honey holes but advise would be great! Also anyone interested in joining would be welcome. Finally, a few days of free diving the bone yard in Venice, FL.... That's home! Any advice, suggestions, or anyone interested in joining please chime in. I'll post pics as it happens. I found this tooth in June 2017 diving in a GA river. its is right at 5.0" and one of the nicest I have found!

Fossil divers do it in the mud... or rocks... or sand... pretty much anywhere there's teeth. The point is, we crawl over a lot of stuff in the course of a dive. This weekend I was doing the normal thing looking for teeth while tyring to appear unappetizing to any passing sharks or gators when something scrunched under my right kneepad. I crawl over about a million and five rocks each dive, and usually ignore stuff like this, but that little fossil angel that straddles my tank said, "Better check that one out." So I did, and doggone it, that was a tooth down there! 3.9" fresh out of the clay. Thank you sir, I'll have another! (It looks bigger than 3.9" because I have tiny hands)

I spent a FANTASTIC day at the Stratford Hall cliffs yesterday courtesy of Mid Atlantic Fossil and Nature Trips. HUGE thanks to Cathy for organizing the outing as it was one of the best days I can remember having (collecting or otherwise!) Found a great many teeth during the 4 hours (particularly for a relative newcomer). Favorites of the day were the nice croc at top, a few of the more complete hemis, my first makos, and.... the VERY partial Meg at far left under the bottle cap. I saw the root sticking out of the sand, my heart skipped a beat, and then I discovered, much to my dismay, that almost the entire tooth was broken off. Oh well, I'll save the intact tooth for next time!!

Hi everyone, Here are multiple repairs I just made to megalodon teeth. For some of them I forgot to take before pictures, The blue tooth has a completely reconstructed left side of the root, and a chunk of the blade and enamel are repaired.

Hi all, I've this odd shark tooth and the seller told me it was a Megalodon, just wanted to double check. It looks pathological if it is a megalodon and comes from a river in Georgia. The size is 3.8". Thank you for your help!

I was skimming the bottom and came to a spot with several big bone chunks. I thought, "There's gotta be a meg here. GOT to." Sure enough. A few seconds later, I stumbled on this beauty. 4 1/4"

Overall I am pleased with the repair, except for the rough patches on the left side of the blade.
