Hiya, First time posting….. We went for a family fossil walk this weekend along Barton-on-sea beach, Hampshire, UK. Among the fossilised shark teeth and shells my daughter also picked this out of the sand. I was thinking it is a fossilised meta-tarsal or phalange bone, looks like iron pyrite, but no idea what from? Hoping someone on here can lead me in the right direction. Thanks Vikki

Peace river find. Measures 6.5inches x2.5 inches. This bone has 2 clear articulation surfaces and a bit of damage, but I believe I know what it is but would like to hear from others. Many thanks!
