Where it would seem like the jawline, has lines like the circular insect/worm, but towards the back the ridges patter turns into a round bumps pattern, and also turning the fossil around there is a hole that would look like where the spine would be. otherwise it is just a mashup is sea bugs and shells. Not sure where this was found, probably in the PA Delaware river.

Hello friends, I am wondering how much "mixing" there would be of the material from neighboring formations as the transition from one to the other occurs at the surface. I suppose the gradient of the formation layers and fractures as well as the slope of the surface would play a large part in producing the "blended" area (if there actually is one). Referencing the pics, For instance, my location is Mahantango indicated by the red arrow. Less than a mile to the west, the grade is fairly steep up through the Marcellus, then about 2 miles to the Oriskany Sandstone which I find quite a bit of in my area. Could the map be off a bit ? Is there typically a "mixed blend" where formations meet at the surface ? Can one approximate the width of these blended zones ... if they do in fact occur ? Just curious, as usual. Thanks for your time.

These were collected when I was probably ten years old (I am now 21), so I do not know the specifics of where these were found. I only know that I was somewhere around the Kansas/Nebraska border (SE part). I was hoping to get some input as to what fossils may be in these slabs? I know there are brachiopods, crinoids, an fragments of corals. I was hoping to maybe get some specifics, or general ID's on some of the fossils. There are some that look like fish ribs or spines of some sort. Any input is appreciated!
