Welcome to... my tiny dinosaur museum! I used to work at the largest natural history museum of the Netherlands and now I created a little copy of my own. I just recently started collecting dinosaur teeth from Morocco. At the moment I have 7 teeth: two Spinosaurids, one Carcharodontosaurid, 3 Abelisaurids and a Titanosaurid. As you can see, I also like to collect dinosaur models that are more or less accurate according to latest insights. The museum is still under construction: the labels are not correct (this is what I got from the fossil dealers, I need to make better ones) and I need more figures (I really hope one of my favourite manufacturers will produce a nice Rugops in the future) and teeth. Those Dromaeosaurid models are obviously out of place, but they will stay as long as I do not have more appropriote models. The next few teeth I would like to add are one bigger Carch, one specimen of the teeth that are often labeled as Deltadromeus and one or more Dromaeosaurid-like teeth. I do not know many good dealers in the EU, so if anyone has any tips that would be greatly appreciated!

Theres no way I'm the only one, but I think a fossil display with models incorporated take display and immersion to the next level. The creature alongside the evidence it left behind, makes such museum like feel in appearance and enhances the appreciation and wonder. Heres a thread to post any fossils you have on display alongside a model, statue, or toy. Here is a display from my collection of one of my favorite prehistoric creatures postosuchus alongside a giant 10inch+ chirotherium pos/neg footprint.

Hello all, I have these models that were given to me by my uncle several years ago. Admittedly, I'm not an experienced model builder by any stretch and I would love to see these built, however, it seems kind of cool to me that they're still intact/in the box, vintage models. Either way the mere possession of these invokes the nostalgia of evenings, sitting in front of the [tube] television set marveling at the wonders this pioneer of oceanography provided us with! I thought It might be fun to get opinions on what you would do with these! Thank you for thoughts!

It’s been enjoyable talking to people in the forum and sharing a common interest so I thought I would share some old images of a rough pliosaur model I made years ago. I think I modelled it on a kronosaurus and went with a sort of ‘elephant seal’ bulk look as at the time I was reading about marine reptiles inhabiting colder southern seas. I was trying to get the impression of size in the photos - a sort of divers perspective as it cruised past uncomfortably close ....

Hi everyone, I am starting my first dinosaur model. A 1.40 scale scene of an Albertosaurus taking down a Parasaurolophus. Here is the sketch I have made before starting the sculpt and a first picture of the armature as well. After a quick trip to the oven it should be ready for the next layer of clay ! I have also made the separate Albertosaurus armature, but will sculpt it when I'll be done with the Parasaurolophus.
