Hello. New to the forum. Retired geologist (environmental) and ready to get back in to one of my passions, fossil collecting. As a young buck, I did lot of collecting in NE PA around the anthracite open pits. Late 70's went to USU and hiked a lot of locals in Wyoming and Utah. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Jack....

I recently received a few tracks from a friend and haven’t really shown them here. Enjoy Chirotherium barthii or Isochirotherium sp. Moenkopi Formation Holbrook Member Arizona 240 Million Years Old Middle Triassic These tracks were actually studied by Spencer Lucas and Hendrix Klein earlier this year. There also seems to be some plant material mixed in with the tracks in the larger slab in photo 4 as well, however I’m not to sure what species so I’ll probably post them in fossil ID later. Smaller Slab Larger Slab

I don't think I've posted this here before. Any ideas? It's from the Moenkopi Formation near Temple Mountain, San Rafael Reef. Probably Moody Canyon Member, but it's detrital so I can't be 100% sure. Would be Early Triassic. Looks a lot to me like tire tracks, but the geologic age is wrong for that.

Found these in east central Arizona, close to where I have found fossil footprints. The brown rock surrounding the white material looks like fine sand adhering to it. The white material is smooth.
