This tooth was found in Montgomery County, Alabama, and is about 70 million years old. Looking for an ID on the species. I'm pretty sure its a lateral from a goblin shark but I'm not certain.

Hello everyone! Took a trip down to Point A dam this weekend and had a blast - much better success this time vs. my Feb 2021 trip (found exactly one tooth (water too high)). On my way back to Nashville, I decided to stop in Montgomery to spend the night. When I woke up this morning, I drove over to Catoma Creek. I found a few shells and something rather mysterious. Since I’ve never hunted Cretaceous fossils, I’m hoping you can help me ID this. Is this wood?
