Crazy story... I recently started work with the Port of Miami in Florida, while at work and on a brake i was hiding from the rain that we usually get here every day, and walking around day dreaming about fossils since I haven't hunted in years, when all of a sudden I see this weird looking flat spiral shape in a puddle next to a garbage bin, I thought to my self that there's no way that it might be a fossil, I must be losing it and seeing things,must be some sort of metal washer or garbage but decided to give it a better look... and there it was , an ammonite in the most unlikeliest places, I

I purchased this trilobite from Colorado, I was told it is a Phacops but from what I read it seems a bit on the large side. Since I was told its from Morocco I questioned its authenticity but due to the damage I think it is real but crudely excavated. Any thoughts on this specimen would be appreciated.

A very large Trilobite I picked up for cheap. I was told it was an Andalusian Trilobite which seems to be an outdated term. I was assured it was not restored due to being a flatter type of trilobite (even I know better than that) Also told it is from Morroco. I bought it because even if it is half restored I am happy with the price. As far as I can figure out it would be a Paradoxide but on closer inspection I am concerned there is a lot of plaster like material, unsure if these fossils look like that normally... Looking for any input
