I would like to buy this mosasur tooth but I'm not adept at telling if fossils are real or not. Could someone with more experience please tell me? It costs $18 as well.

I came across this Mosasaur Tooth today that caught my interest, but having read quite a bit about this particular fossil - the market is presumably full of fakes and composites. So I decided to post the pics of the specimen to ask for some help from any one more experienced than me in detecting the fakes and composite to help me out. Does the fossil look like a composite? Any red flags or abnormalities on the specimen? And if it turns out not to be a composite, what would be a retail value of this thing that I should reasonably pay for it? Thx guys for the help!
