  11. I've started to document my field trips for both collecting and "stratigraphic discovery" on my own website so rather than peck it all out again here, I include a link to an article on a late fall visit to Indian Creek and the Kashong Member of the Moscow Fm., east side of Seneca Lake. It was a good trip for me as I added three Pleurodictyum americanum to my collection (one with an excellent Tropidoleptus brachiopod underneath). You can find other fossil sites in western New York discussed by getting back to the home page of the site. http://fredmhaynes.com/2015/11/27/indian-creek/

  18. Last Saturday, 5/23/15, a group of Fossil Forum members from five different northeastern states gathered at a quarry off Deep Springs Road in Lebanon, NY. to hunt for Middle Devonian marine fossils in shale from the Moscow Formation. This writer first visited the site, featured on Karl Wilson's website, in late spring of 2013 and since has returned six times. Last fall I introduced Tim (Fossildude19) to the site and we came up with the idea that this would be an excellent location for a TFF meet up. Tim made the connections and plans with other TFF members, a date was finally agreed upon, and
