I found these at Penn Dixie the other month and have slowly been identifying them. They are from the Middle Devonian Moscow Formation. I would love a second opinion from the experts as the Devonian isn't a period I'm super familiar with. 1. Streptelasma ungula 2. Heterophrentis simplex 3. Stereolasma rectum 4. Not sure 5. There really aren't any great ID guides online for this site. There's one but i read it was unreliable. Looking for some pointers on these. Sorry, but this is going to be fairly long. 1. Found by a friend on a Southern Minnesotan river gravel bar. Sediments in the area include everything both glacial till deposits and cretaceous sea mudstone and sandstones. although, I suspect this is modern.

Went to the Brook yesterday and found this curious thing. Leaning towards a fish plate and found something called a porcupine fish but can’t seem to find a genus.

Could use a second opinion. Mahantango formation of the Devonian from Pennsylvania 1 a broken bivalve, brachiopod or crinoid? 2 shell material with a spiriferid brachiopod 3 brachiopod 4 crinoid? 5 crinoid and shell material? 6 fenestella bryozoan? 7 not sure maybe just the rock 8 fenestella bryozoan?

From Pennsylvania. Mahantango formation of the Devonian. Would love your thoughts. I am so happy with my new property. 1 some kind of brachiopod 2 crinoids 3 some kind of brachiopod 4 no idea 5 Fenestella? with something weird (addition photos are 5*) 6 brachiopod? 7 Fenestella? 8 Spiriferid brachiopod 9 bryozoan? 10 its cool looking, partial brachiopod?
