Found this bone eroding out of a shale layer near a creek in the Lockatong-Formation on Montgomery county Pennsylvania. It measures roughly 10cm long, not sure about this one, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Found in the Newark supergroup, probably new oxford fm, by me. Near Thurmont, MD. A broke a concretion in four pieces, there was calcite in many little crack and niches in the rock, and in one of the calcite side a noticed this dendrite. Not a fossil, but cool. Late Triassic -

Hello Everyone, I am new to the forum and have been collecting fossils since I was nine years old (I am now in my mid-twenties). Throughout the years, I have collected many dinosaur footprints from here in New Jersey as well as: Southern NY, PA, and even CT from the Triassic and Jurassic exposures I have been to. When I'm not out digging or working, I also enjoy preparing fossils as well, having worked on Jurassic fish I've discovered, Green River Formation fish, White River mammals, Keichoisaurus Hui skeletons, as well as many others! Some of my fossils I have prepared have found their way into the collections of several forum members as well! I will add some photos of some of my fossils I have found and prepped in this thread for you all to check out. I look forward to being a part of this community and corresponding with you all! Partial Semionotus sp. - part and counterpart. Nearly complete - missing caudal fin. Species indeterminate - possibly S. micropterus? Early Jurassic, Shuttle Meadow Formation. Connecticut.

A complete specimen of the Early Jurassic holostean fish, Semionotus sp. - Species indeterminate - possibly S. micropterus? This was found on plate with 2 other partial individuals. East Berlin Formation of Connecticut. Unusually good preservation of the fish from this site. The skull is weathered and dephosphatized, due to previous exposure to the elements. I found this plate on 09/14/2014.

Osteopleurus newarki (coelacanth) Late Triassic Lockatong Formation Newark Supergroup Granton Quarry North Bergen, NJ First coelacanth fossil I found at Granton- Thanksgiving Day 2013. Ended up with a wicked case of poison ivy, but that didn't stop me from going back. -
