Found this large tooth in Big Brook today. Is it just a very large goblin shark? If so she was a big one! Shame it’s not a full tooth. Also attached is a side by side comparison to the normal size I find. Thanks

Some interesting finds from my weeks NJ brook trip. Some new and good finds to take macros of and share. I hope that you will find my little man IDK thingy at least entertaining. I might place him in the collection as a personal good luck charm to acknowledge before heading out on a future trip. I don’t know what he is or how he came to be- but he is sure interesting. Cheers!!!!

This little guy caught my eye and so I picked him up, brought him home, and cleaned him up. Hoping that he is part of a ghost shrimp claw. Few other finds last week but nothing too spectacular or what I already don’t have in my mini collection.

Great day in big brook from 7am to 12 noon. Whole bunch of shark teeth including the biggest one I’ve found yet; 1.25 inch goblin plus a lot of John Snow teeth. A couple of pycnodont and a couple of cow nosed rays. One small enchodus and a couple of TBDs. Did also find one tick when I got home so be aware

Hi, I found this tooth at ram brook and was wondering what type of tooth it is, it doesn’t appear to have cusps, which is making me wonder what type of tooth it is. It’s about .75 of an inch.
