Over the weekend, me and my friend went to a creek in North Florida and found the Fossils below (main picture to fire wolf) the next day I went by myself to a land site near me and found most of the small teeth and the megalodon. This was our first time at this creek, and it was a huge success, with the most Miocene age fossils of any creek I have been to. We got camel, round- tailed muskrat ( thank you to those who helped identify that) horse, gator, and best of all, my first dire wolf tooth.

I found this tooth around what I think was one of my first post on the forum (not very long ago). When I found it I had not tried identifying many predator teeth and did not realize how common the shape was and concluded it was dire wolf, but now I believe that this is not true due to size and rarity of these teeth. I believe it is probably something smaller, maybe feline, raccoon, or something of that sort, any help?

I found these around 10 years ago in north Florida while diving with a friend who was living in Gainesville at the time. A couple of the sites were rivers and the rest were narrow streams with deep holes, up to 12 feet deep. I have been downsizing my collection and found these in the depths of my storage unit. Ninety-nine percent of the land mammal remains that I find in my neck of the woods are peccary parts, so my knowledge of terrestrial mammal post-cranial elements is no match for the abundance of Florida's fossil treasures. Any help identifying these would be appreciated. Thanks Ron
