Hey guys I found this 2 days ago, on the same place as the other ones, Pleistocene deposits south of Charleston, I was wondering if I could get this tooth identified. It is for sure carnivore. (it is hollow on the inside as well) Sorry guys I tried to crop and brighten but it didn't work out. Thanks, Wyatt

Found in pacific city Oregon. My daughter found this on the beach and thought it was a cool fossil rock. After getting it home I noticed the rings and I am fairly certain it is petrified wood but what are the holes? Some are hard packed with sand (rock hard, cant break it up) and others have crystals in them. This area is well known for agate, not sure if that has anything to do with it. Very unique, if it is truly petrified wood I have never seen any like this.

Can anyone identify this what type of marine life this skull is part of? I found it today along the East Coast of United States - Atlantic Ocean Spoon in photo for scale. The strange up raised markings on top are perplexing. Type of Eel perhaps? It's wet from me rinsing it in sink. Thank you!

Hello, My brothers friend recently found this beauty by a crop field in Bayaguana Dominican Republic (first and second picture). I believe it was found near water, a river of some sort. We can not figure out what it is, but while hunting the internet I came across the third picture which was posted on a tourist site and claimed to be found in Sosua Dominican Republic which is in the northern part of the island and by the ocean. Can anyone tell me what this could be, what could have made that shape?

I found this on a family vacation this August on the beach at Wildwood Crest, NJ in the ocean. It is 4.5 cm long, 2.5 cm wide and .75 cm tall. Does anyone know what this is?

Hey guys, I've found some bones and want to see if anyone is able to identify them for me. So while snorkeling off the coast of Rarotonga in the Cook Islands I found a spine of some sort. It was resting inside the opening of a cave. The length of spine that was visible to me was about half a metre maybe just over half a metre long. Each single vertebrae was about 20cm wide. Please view the photo provided. (Sorry I'm having trouble uploading the photo, I'm gonna try again in the morning..) Any help or input is greatly appreciated thank you

Hi- we are new to this forum and have great interest in finding out what we picked up this weekend after Hurricane Dorian on the beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We actually drove from Ohio Friday night to look for sharks teeth and came home with a few (nothing sizely this visit) and this piece of what we believe to be fossilized tusk.

Hello, I´m not sure about the ID. For me the tooth looks like a Hemipristis or a bull shark tooth. The tooth is from the Indo-Pacific (Phillippines) and 1/2" (1,5cm) in lenght. I want to be sure with the ID because I do not want to buy a tooth of a protected species. I don´t know, if the question is correctly ask in the Fossilforum, but I hope, that you can help me. This was found on the Jersey Shore - a beach on the western Atlantic. I unfortunately don't have a scale, but it measures 3 inches x 4 inches (7.6 cm x 10.2 cm). Any idea what it is?

At Titlow Beach Washington state (Eocene) I found this weird pattern. probably just minerals or something strange but I still wanted to be sure. It came from under a rock we chipped the top off.

I found a fossil amongst a ton of ocean fossils, mostly crinoids but amongst other things. It is a bunch of dots on a rock .Any ideas at to what it is, maybe scales? Nearly all the rocks are fossils.

I believe its some kind of tusk.

I found what look like worm fossils among a bunch of crinoid fossils and a few shells. Could you explain what these are? They seem much larger than the crinoid fossils. Seems like one end of the worm and the other end. I found smaller ones of one end, like knob ends.
