Found this one today. It was a great therapy day today. You know it is a good time when you find so much you can't bring them all home. Not the most clear of specimens, but I think it may be a new one for me?

Felt bad about leaving this one behind, but will have to wait for another day. Too heavy for me to carry out. The top came out in a few pieces and I am afraid the bottom will also. Beautiful specimen I think.

After months away from the site and foot surgery behind me, my daughter went with me for my first trip to the site. She found this and I am not sure what it is. Hope the photo is good enough.

This was a personal find about 20 yards from my front door. The area has produced gold and other fossils and is at the end of a glacial path. Knox County, Ohio. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have found several of these in varying sizes, but they all look about like this. This site also happens to be at one of the higher points in the county elevation wise. Thanks everyone!

Going through some of the fossils, I had forgotten about these. I was told that they are concretions, but another friend who has a collection of concretions said that at first glance she thought they were also, but the round base found on both of them makes her doubt. Any ideas?

This is one I found this summer, and I am told it is bone. I have found large fish scales and a small fish there. Any thoughts as to what it could be from?

Found this today under a huge heavy rock. Broke part of the heavy stone off and was able to see underneath it. The leaf fossil is not a real good specimen, but not sure if it is one I found before. Also, I question the other area, is it a fossil or just the way water perhaps seeped in?

Is this considered Lepidodendron? Also, I posted the question before but did not receive any reply. What causes the greenish jue on some of the fossils>

I have found this once before, but find it so strange, so thought I would ask this time. The fossil is not really significant, but when I broke the stone open, there was a tiny little pebble stuck in the stone. In all of the sample I have taken from the site, I have only seen this twice. Is this a common occurrence with fossils?
