HI All We are going to be staying near Orlando for this christmas/new years break. I have convinced my wife to come with us on a fossil hunting trip. She does not swim and will not go in a boat or canoe. I realize we are probably looking at going to the Peace river near Wauchula to hunt. Can anyone suggest where we can go where we can hunt without using a boat? It looks like the Peace river water level is dropping. It doesnt have to be near Wauchula, keeping in mind we are staying near Orlando. We are actually staying in Clermont. Thanks

Hello I live in Orlando, Florida and have been trying to find good spots for a while. Just a problem is I would prefer a thin creek or river and I haven’t been able to find one yet. Any tips or locations? Sorry if I chose the wrong place to submit this I just recently found this website.

My family and I will be at Disney World Florida August 1-8, 2019. I would like to take a day trip to go looking for shark teeth and fossils. I have no idea where to go and am looking for someone who knows where to go and wouldn’t mind showing me the ropes. Anyone interested?

Has anyone ever been to the Florida Fossil Hunters show in Orlando? I'm going to be in Orlando that weekend finishing up a work conference and thought I may check it out. Any dinosaur material vendors? Does anyone have any pictures from the show from years past?

I'm going to travel in my car from Los Angeles, las vegas, Flagstaff, Albuquerque, Amarillo, Oklahoma, Memphis, New Orleans, Panama City, Sarasota, and Orlando. I want to take advantage of that to do little fossil huntings across that sites. Obviously, I don't want to do something illegal or wrong while collecting. I was talking with some guy from natural science and tell me which is legal and which not. The original idea is to fossil

Hi all, For us Europeans, Florida is a very exotic place. This may not be your view though, especially if you are from there (as many members here are). Anyways, I am really excited, because this winter (around x-mas) I will be going with my family to Orlando! (the hotel is less exciting: it's the Disney World one ). Anyways, we have a few days to go fossil hunting in one of the most fossiliferous regions in the world. We have already booked a trip with Fossil Voyages, owned by our very forum admin @Cris and his friend Kyle, which I'm sure will be a very exciting moment. But we ha
