I found this perfect little tooth today along the Potomac River in Maryland (Paleocene, Aquia Formation), which I think may be an Otodus obliquus parasymphyseal. The root isn't as oversized as megatooth shark parasymphyseals I've seen posted elsewhere on the forum, but it sure looks like an Otodus, is laterally compressed, and is quite tiny compared to other Otodus I've found. @MarcoSr, @siteseer, @Al Dente, and others, what do you think? Moroccan Parotodus parasymphyseal and Cretolamna biauriculata?

Hi y'all, I picked these shark teeth up from a local rock shop. The first is definitely a symphyseal/parasymphyseal tooth but I'm not sure if it's from an Eocene Parotodus or Otodus. I lean towards Parotodus because of the narrow crown and its significant curvature. The second I think is a Cretolamna biauriculata. This peculiar looking tooth is a parasymphyseal benedeni from Antwerp, Belgium. This little tooth is one of my favourite personal finds and is also one of the rarer pieces in my collection.

A nice upper parasymphyseal cow shark

This little Ric was self collected in a quarry in Onslow County N.C. It has been I.D.'d as a parasymphyseal by Marco here on the forum.
