  18. Hiya my new fossil-finding friends! My name's Dana and I'm a graduate student of paleontology at Cornell University in beautiful upstate New York! Ever been to the Paleontological Research Institution or its Museum of the Earth? If it was recently, you might've seen me poking around, doing fun fossil things. I imagine I'll be using Fossil Forum mainly to 1) meet people of interest and 2) get info and related to my dissertation topic - Eocene gastropods (Nassariidae: Dorsaninae and Volutidae) from the Gulf Coast of N. America and from the Paris Basin/associated English deposits. I'm also excited by the idea of helping any of you fine people with your questions and requests about well, anything you think I might be able to help with. My A-exam is on Wednesday afternoon, I've been preparing for the past 6 weeks. Wish me luck! Dana
