Found these by a body of water in a field what look like it would have been a good place for an Indian Mound if it look the same then as it does now

Found this any info is appreciated. No limestone and not much quartz in the area this was found. Everything about it is very hard and possibly silicified. Thanks Jason

I found this in my Seattle area yard, near the dead stump of a small maple. After washing and bleaching the septums appear filled with sand and shell bits. There is also something growing throughout it like a veinous system—likely plant? It is heavy. There are striated and mineralized layers. There is a ventricle feature and a faceted stem—it’s disturbingly brain-like. I feel honored to have finally guessed my way through your captcha (respect!)~~hoping someone can identify this oddity. Best guesses so far are coral or fungus, but I’ve not found any examples sporting this stem canal...

Hey all - A friend found this in north Florida close to a natural spring (Blue Springs in Jackson County). It was found close to the surface during some post-Hurricane Michael clean up. It's fairly heavy and dense. I didn't have a ruler, but I've placed it beside a standard 3x5 index card to give an example of size. Any guesses?!?!

Hello - I have spent hours with this rock under the microscope hoping to find a clue that will help me confirm what it is, but....I know NOTHING about this stuff so it's best I just ask. So about 3 years ago I acquired 2 interesting looking rocks. I was told they were found here in Ventura, California along the Santa Clara river bed and I believe they were found within the last 30yrs. This first one is interesting as it looks like there's what looks like a lizard head to me protruding out of it. It also looks like it has an outer shell and in some areas you can see crystals on the inside of the rock. Could this be an egg fossil? Any help with this is greatly appreciated! Also, I can send additional pictures if needed. Thank you!

Hi, new to the forum so please bear with me ! My Dad was a coal miner and he had several fossils which I “inherited” when he passed away 17 years ago. Among them is what seems to me to be a small, heavy petrified mussel (photo attached). It’s about an inch and a half across, very heavy and looks to be completely intact. I’m just after an explanation of how it cane to be and a rough idea of age ? It was found in amongst a seam of coal around 2000 feet below an estuary. Any info would be gratefully received ! Thanks

From the album: Fluorescent Petrified Wood
One of Delaware's many mysteries is the petrified wood found near Odessa and Smyrna. The general consensus is that is cypress wood of some kind and it was buried under Pleistocene sediments. However, the origin of the wood and the age have yet to be figured out. Some say Miocene. Others say as old as Cretaceous. There are no other co-occurring fossils in the deposit to give any clues. The photo on the right was taken using a 395 nm UV lamp. -
