New to fossil hunt and get this piece at The Montour Preserve Fossil Pit is located at 160 Sportsmans Road, Danville, PA 17821. Anyone have idea on what kind of fossil shell mark is that? Any information will educate me a lot! ALso, should I remove the lighter grey part or should I keep those?(is it the fossil part itself?)

Hello, the other day I found this on a hiking trail in Wissahickon park in Philadelphia, pa. it looks like a footprint, but the age of the Wissahickon formation is Paleozoic, not Mesozoic. The rock is roughly brick shaped, and there are stone structures/ ruins around the park. It may be a possibility that an old structure was built with Triassic rock, which can be found a short drive west. I am having trouble identifying the type of rock. Is this a Grallator track, or a Grallator shaped coincidence? thanks!
