Heya. Recently found this rock (or bone?) in glacial till, about 2 or 3 feet down in a hole. Not sure exactly if it’s bone or not so I’m posting it on here. It’s about 2 inches long and about an inch or an inch and a half wide.

I found this piece of bone in Louisville, Kentucky. Any idea how old it is?

Greetings everyone, Found this bone on the Maasvlakte beach in the Netherlands. Based on the location, probably Pleistocene, but could also be Holocene or Pliocene. It looks like a metapodial, and based on size and shape I was thinking maybe carnivore. An expert was able to tell me that it could be carnivore (or maybe beaver), and that it probably belonged to a young animal (since the outer layer of compact bone is really thin). I've been spending hours comparing this fossil to metapodials of all kinds of carnivores (and Castor fiber) matching this location, but I still can't figure it out. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi all, I recently purchased this mammoth tooth, which I believe is genuine but would like your guys’ feedback on. I’m not as familiar with mammoth material, but I’m not so sure it’s a wooly mammoth based on pictures I’ve seen online. I believe it may be a lower left P4(?) but not really sure. The seller noted: No restoration AGE :Pleistocene - 12,000 years ago Length: 10.5cm / 4.1 inch Height: 12cm / 4.7 inch Width: 7.5 cm / 2.9 inch Weight: 583gram/ 1.28 ibs Origin: The Sakha(Yakutia)Republic Siberian Any input would be lovely! Can we roughly tell a species based on its supposed provenience and morphologies? Also included a photo of a temporary DIY stand I made from 1/8” steel rod and heat shrink tubing.

Found these 3 in the Peace River last week near Bowling Green - first one I believe is a hoof core from ? The other 2 I have no clue and would appreciate some help in identifying- additional photos available. Many thanks

On our field trip with PSoA this month, my husband found this bone fragment. It seems thick for a turtle to me, but I am more familiar with Cretaceous turtles. The Brazos river was very low during our trip and the fragment was found in the river bed, not the wall. Any guidance on what it may be or information supporting turtle or not is greatly appreciated!

Hey guys, I’m hoping someone can help me out by confirming the ID on this odd fossil I found in the Peace River! It is a very worn section of jaw bone with 3 teeth showing. The teeth appear to be that of an equine, so I assume what I have here is a section of an equine jaw worn by water and time. The shape of it is odd, though.

Here are 3 fossils I would like help in IDing. The first is a fragment, but I thought the unique edge might help identify it. Is it some kind of jaw? The second is a calcaneum which appears somewhat bigger and robust than that of a deer....llama? The third, I think, is a fragment of a scapula. Any idea as to species?
